At Beat Motors, we believe that clarity and confidence are essential when choosing your next vehicle.
This FAQ section provides straightforward answers to our most common questions, helping you understand our approach, our standards, and the care we put into every car we offer.

Yes. You are welcome to contact us even if you are still researching. We can explain the Japanese auction system, estimated costs, shipping options, payment process, and the general import flow before you make a decision.

Beat Motors is based in Japan. We assist customers with purchasing vehicles, parts, and auction vehicles from Japan, and arranging export-related support.

Yes. Beat Motors has a physical showroom in Japan. Customers and visitors are welcome by appointment, and you can enjoy a coffee while viewing the vehicles.

Our showroom regularly displays rare, interesting, and high-quality vehicles, including vehicles that are not commonly seen in ordinary dealerships. Since our stock and display vehicles change from time to time, please contact us before visiting if you would like to see a specific vehicle.

Please note that many vehicles are also sourced from Japanese auctions, dealer networks, suppliers, and stock yards. For those vehicles, we provide available photos, auction sheets, condition details, and related information before purchase.

For auction vehicles, inspection opportunities depend on the auction house and timing. In most cases, customers make decisions based on the auction sheet, photos, grade, condition report, and our advice. For stock vehicles, additional photos or condition checks may be possible depending on vehicle location.

A Japanese auction sheet is a condition report prepared by auction inspectors. It usually includes the auction grade, mileage, exterior condition, interior condition, accident history notes, scratches, dents, repairs, and other important details.

Yes. We can help explain the key points of the auction sheet, including auction grade, repair history, exterior marks, interior grade, mileage notes, and important warnings. Please note that auction sheets are inspection reports, not a full mechanical warranty.

Yes. Tell us your budget, preferred model, year, mileage, fuel type, condition, and destination country. We can help you shortlist suitable vehicles from Japanese auctions or available stock.

Yes. We can assist with bidding on Japanese auction vehicles. Before bidding, we normally confirm your budget, target vehicle, estimated costs, and payment requirements.

Yes. Full prepayment or confirmed funds may be required before we proceed with bidding, purchase, or release of the vehicle. We do not operate a casual deposit-based retail system unless specifically agreed in writing.

In most cases, we require full payment before purchase or release. For auction bidding, the required payment terms will be explained before we place any bid on your behalf.

We mainly accept bank transfer. For parts or smaller balances, we may be able to provide a secure Stripe payment link. Available payment methods may depend on the amount, destination, and type of order.

Unless stated otherwise, invoices are normally issued in Japanese Yen, JPY. If another currency is shown for reference, the final payment instructions in the official invoice should be followed.

International bank transfers usually take a few business days, depending on the sending bank, receiving bank, currency, and country. We proceed after funds are confirmed.

Only use the bank details shown in our official invoice or email. If you receive any message saying that bank details have changed, please contact us directly before sending funds. This is important for payment security.

Usually, no. Vehicle price, domestic transport in Japan, export handling, inspection, documents, and ocean freight may be separate depending on the order. We will explain estimated costs before purchase whenever possible.

Possible additional costs include auction fees, service fees, domestic transport in Japan, export handling, documentation, inspection fees, ocean freight, marine insurance, destination port charges, customs clearance, tax, compliance, registration, and local delivery. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the vehicle can be legally imported, complied, registered, and used in the destination country unless we have specifically agreed to handle that process. Import rules differ by country and can change.

We can help check general points such as year, fuel type, model, emissions-related information, and available documents. However, final import approval and local compliance should be confirmed with your customs broker, compliance agent, or local authority.

Vehicles purchased from Japanese auctions are generally sold based on auction information and available inspection details. Unless a warranty is clearly stated in writing, vehicles are sold without a mechanical warranty. We recommend careful checking before purchase.

Auction sheets are prepared by the auction house, not by Beat Motors. We help interpret the available information, but auction reports may not identify every issue. Used vehicles can have wear, age-related problems, or hidden defects.

In most cases, no. Once a bid is successful, the purchase is binding. Cancellation may not be possible, or significant cancellation penalties may apply. Please only approve bidding when you are ready to proceed.
